A block pallet is also called four-way pallet. This is because a forklift can pick up the pallet from four sides.

The block is built with a top-deck, stringers, bottom-deck and blocks. In most cases a block pallet has a dimension of 100x120cm. Pallets with these dimensions are also known as Industrial pallets. Dimensions of 80x120cm, 110x110cm, 120x120cm can also occur.

The choice of the block pallet depends on the desired use, equipment, legislation, transport, maintenance and fumigation. The weight that a block pallet can carry depends on the thickness of the boards and blocks.
